Project Overview
As someone who loves to bake, I was curious about what it takes to develop ones own recipes. Unlike cooking, following a recipe closely can often make a huge difference in the final result. This project was approached from three angles:
(1) to develop and perfect my chocolate chip cookie & biscuit recipes
(2) to experiment with flavors and modes of infusing flavor
(3) to develop the design of the actual recipeitself (visual representation)
As a visual designer, I was interested in the formalized ways recipes are written and distributed and wanted to play with the form to see if there were more intuitive or visually accessible ways of representing such processes.
